Anne-Marie Cromack is based at IBM Research Europe - Zurich and is part of the IBM Research Global Client Experience organization. The team focuses on engagement management of strategic Alliances and operations of IBM Research Think Labs. Specifically, Anne-Marie is IBM Research's subject matter expert on scientific publications which she applies to articulate the unique value of IBM to clients and other external stakeholders by offering dedicated resources to ensure client success. She works closely with Engagement Managers to seek insights on client needs and supports the Engagement Managers in their interactions with our partners. Using her deep understanding of the scientific publishing environment, she is responsible for the content of the external facing IBM Research Publications Catalog, showcasing IBM Research as a leader in the scientific space. Additionally, she works with cross-functional internal stakeholders to support Researchers on their publishing journey. She has been a team member on two IBM 'A' level accomplishments.
Before joining IBM in 2008, she worked at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, France, in the European Pharmacopoeia Partial Agreement where she processed orders for reference standards and publications. Prior to that, she was a Sales Manager for Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA) Fine Paper in the UK, selling and promoting fine paper to large paper merchants and distributors.
Born and raised in London, Anne-Marie graduated with a BA Hons, majoring in Economics, from the University of East Anglia, UK, in 1988, and also holds a Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Professional Qualification. At IBM, she has been Secretary of both the Hobbyclub and Personnel Commission, and in her spare time she enjoys skiing, hiking in the Swiss mountains, and playing tennis.
