Bio

Nicholas Borge is a strategic technology leader specializing in product development, cross-functional leadership, and business transformation. As Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships at IBM Research, he drives success for lab-to-market initiatives and industry collaborations, building on his MIT research in the economics and adoption of AI systems. He also leads strategy and operations for the IBM Research Client Experience practice.​

At IBM Research, he previously led product management for the content platform team, overseeing client-facing platforms and external web properties. Prior to IBM, as Director of Intelligent Automation at Sony Music, he implemented an RPA platform across 50 business processes and delivered $25M in cost reductions. His entrepreneurial experience includes founding Impartial.AI, which developed AI measures of news bias and was recognized at the UN "AI for Good" summit and won two Techstars competitions.​

During his decade at PA Consulting Group, he rose from Analyst to Managing Consultant, leading teams of up to 30 consultants across 16 countries, primarily in the life sciences industry and for the UK Government. Key accomplishments include reducing patient onboarding duration by 20%, developing forecast models for 200,000+ security licenses, and optimizing 1000+ public transport services in London.​ Nick holds an MS in Engineering and Management from MIT’s System Design program and a BSc in Mathematics, Operations Research, and Statistics from Cardiff University. He is fluent in Spanish and originally from Gibraltar.​
