Pablo Vidal is a Solutions Engineer at IBM Research. In his role, Pablo leads six strategic projects for IBM Research and the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, primarily focused on the application of foundation models and generative AI for molecular and drug discovery, causal methods, and synthetic data. Additionally, Pablo facilitates client briefings and acts as a technical facilitator for innovation strategy workshops.
Originally from Madrid, Spain, Pablo holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Duke University. Pablo was granted his first patent for an autonomous suitcase at age 16. Prior to joining IBM Research Cambridge, he gained a diverse professional experience through internships at IBM Research, the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab (Boston, USA), Kawada Robotics (Tokyo, Japan), and Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas (Madrid, Spain).
