Shailja Thakur

Shailja Thakur is a Research Scientist at IBM Research India Lab. Her current research interest includes AI for code, Domain generalization, Conversational and Agentic systems. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at New York University, NY. She has previously worked on problems across LLMs for Hardware Design Automation, Bias and Fairness of LLMs, time-series analytics, IoT, ML Interpretability, Automotive systems Security.
