Stephen Odhiambo

Stephen  Odhiambo joined IBM Research in 2013 at the IBM Research - Africa lab in Kenya after a span of successive IBM roles in Software group, Systems group and GTS - TSS in Central East and West Africa (CEWA).

Stephen has over 13 years of experience in the field of information technology with a focus on Cloud platforms/Cloud Computing: IBM Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud Platform,Kubernetes, OpenShift, deployment, management,IT Security, Data networking, Data center Management,  IT Service management, Project management, Mobile computing, Computer Architecture and System design, Operating systems and Server management, as well as real-time communications.

He has played a key role in the development and deployment of advanced solutions at both the divisional and corporate levels. Stephen is currently the Emerging Technologies Engineering Research of Africa Labs (Kenya and South Africa). In this role, Stephen is the IT service provider for the IBM Research - Africa.
