A triband antenna for WLAN applications

An overview is given of the design and analysis of a new triband antenna. The antenna is suitable for use in hand-held or other mobile devices and offers advantages in size, cost, and performance. The antenna can be built on a double-sided printed circuit board (PCB) or stamped from thin sheet metal. It can also be built as an on-board antenna to reduce the manufacturing cost.
