Carbon nanotube electronic and optoelectronic devices

Recent developments in our research on single carbon nanotube field-effect transistors, electrically driven infrared emitters, and photo-detectors are discussed. Special emphasis is placed on the electrostatic and chemical control of the Schottky barriers at metal-nanotube contacts. © 2005 IEEE.
