Computing information rates of the microtrack channel

A practical algorithm for computing information rates of finite-state channel models was presented. It was found that with increasing memory of the finite-state model (FSM), the upper and the lower bound get close to each other. It was concluded that the method can be used to compute information rates directly from channel measurements.
