A video avtaar to transmit 3-D collaborative workspace with high quality of presence, in virtual space was developed using virtual world between networked immersive projection display. The video avtaar was developed by using depth information from stereo cameras. The 2.5-D avtaar was then linked between computer augmented booth for image navigation (CABIN) and Communication research laboratory of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (COSMOS) with evaluation pointing accuracy in shared virtual environment.
