FeRh/FePt antiferromagnet/ferromagnet exchange spring media for thermally assisted magnetic recording

In this paper, we present a novel media structure consisting of two exchange coupled films: a first layer consisting of a ferromagnetic high anisotropy alloy like, e.g., FePt, and a second layer consisting of FeRh.
