Hysteresis in the superconducting transition of single spheres of indium

Superheating and Supercooling of single spheres of indium 6-50 μm in diameter is investigated and compared to results from powder samples. The results give κ{script}(Tc)=0.062. A marked size effect near Tc is observed for the smaller spheres. © 1968.
