IIIV/SOI heterogeneous integration of optoelectronic devices

Based on a microdisk laser (MDL) structure by a IIIV/SOI heterogeneous integration platform, we introduce mutiwavelength laser sources, optical modulators, wavelength converters potentially for on-chip optical interconnect. ©2008 Optical Society of America.
