Traditionally the world has viewed biology, chemistry, physics, math, and computer science as completely separate disciplines. However, a lot of the innovative science being done today is at the boundaries of these disciplines. To be effective in these areas, we need to bring together multidisciplinary and collaborative teams. I will discuss these issues in the emerging world of quantum computing, and the role of chemistry within it.
