Laser pulse distortion in a nonlinear dielectric
Abstract
The velocities of the envelope and phase are derived for a laser pulse propagating in a nonlinear dielectric with intensity dependent index of refraction and an estimate made of the frequency shift due to the nonlinearity. © 1967.
