Low coherence laser diodes for computer data-links

Self-pulsating semiconductor lasers (SP-LD) have attractive properties for multimode Tiber computer data links and multi-point optical sub-carrier multiplexed networks. The results of theoretical models and measurements arc presented that indicate the potential of these devices.
