MOLECULAR ORDER IN THE CONDENSED STATE OF SEMIFLEXIBLE POLYMERS.

This paper presents calculations on an ideal polymer system placed on a cubic-lattice and discusses experimental results on two types of real semiflexible chains: semiflexible poly(amic acid) and polyimide, and thermotropic polymer comprising rigid groups connected by polymethylene spacers.
