Numerical analysis of inverted-F antenna for WLAN applications
Abstract
An attempt was made to investigate the effect of antenna placement on the impedance and radiation characteristics of a given INF antenna for laptop applications. It was found that the INF antenna has very good performance for WLAN applications. The antenna bandwidth is wide allowing for manufacturing margin.
