Operational work pattern discovery based on human behavior analysis

Abstract

This paper presents a human behavior analysis model combining process discovery and decision tree analysis. The proposed analysis model uses the event log traces generated by enterprise sales applications, which are mainly used by salespeople. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach using scenario-based simulation and find that our proposed approach is robust against randomly generated activities. We also present that important work behavior patterns can be discovered using the process discovery technology by checking higher frequency transitions. © 2014 IEEE.
