A microwave-driven Josephson junction is a nonlinear system which can to exhibit different behaviours such as the mode-locking and chaos. As the frequencies involved in this system usually are very high, the timedependent voltage and current cannot be directly measured with conventional technics. The goal of this paper is to explain how the different regimes can be experimentally observed. © 1987 Springer-Verlag.
