Raman scattering in the ferroelectric system Pb_1-xBa_xTiO₃

Most of the vibrational modes have been measured in the tetragonal ferroelectric phase of Pb1-xBaxTiO3 for 03 {slanted equal to or less-than} x {slanted equal to or less-than}1 using the powder Raman technique. For x=1 (BaTiO3) the results are in excellent agreement with recent polariton results for the A1 modes and infrared measurements of the E modes. © 1971.
