Rotationally mediated selective adsorption, physisorption and dissociative chemisorption of HD on W(110)

Dissociative chemisorption probabilities, rotationally mediated selective adsorption resonances and scattering angular distributions are reported for HD incident on W(110). No correlations is found between chemisorption and selective adsorption resonances although molecules which undergo rotationally mediated selective adsorption apparently are trapped in a physisorbed state on the surface. © 1985.
