Synthetic Metals
We derive, from a diagrammatic expansion, a new approximation for the correlation function of the dipolar hard sphere fluid which allows a reliable investigation of the dielectric constant ε. An important improvement over the LHNC and QHNC results, which overestimate s, is obtained. We find that ε depends strongly on the size of the particles when both the density and the dipole moment are kept constant. © 1988 Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
