Spin state of manganese in monolayer films of Mn arachidate
Abstract
Using X-ray photoemission spectroscopy, we have determined from the Mn 3s multiplet splitting that the spin state of Mn in monolayers of Mn arachidate is S = 5 2. © 1975.
