Synthesis of macrocyclic rings by internal photocycloaddition of α,ω-dicinnamates

α,ω-Dicinnamates in which the chromophoric groups are separated by 21, 27, 31, and 35 bonds have been cyclized by photosensitized intramolecular addition.
