VIBRATION TESTING USING A MECHANICAL REACTION VIBRATION SYSTEM.

IBM Havant has adopted a low-cost approach to stress screening samples of machines from the production line. One of these screens uses a mechanical reaction vibration system which is used to simulate random vibration. This paper details the test development and shows the results achieved in-house and the subsequent effect on field performance.
