Anirban Chowdhury

I am a Staff Research Scientist in the Mathematics of Computation department at IBM Research.

My research interests include quantum algorithms for quantum simulation and linear algebra, Hamiltonian complexity and classical simulation of quantum many-body systems.

I have a PhD in physics from the University of New Mexico where I was fortunate to be supervised by Rolando Somma.

Prior to joining IBM, I was a postdoc in the Institute of Quantum Computing at the University of Waterloo, advised by David Gosset.
