Research Scientist - Generative Vision Models, Earth Systems
Bio
I am interested in machine learning (ML) methods that improve Earth System models; for example for high-precision weather forecasts. To do so, I leverage tools from generative vision, physics-informed ML, and Earth system modeling. My postdoc and Ph.D. at MIT with Prof. Ferrari, Prof. Selin, and Prof. Newman were centered around the same topics. Previously, I earned an M.Sc. from MIT in safe and robust deep reinforcement learning, and a B.Sc. in Engineering Science from TU Munich. I also windsurf poorly.
