Catherine Wanjiru

Wanjiru is a Software Engineer at IBM Research - Africa. She is part of the Accelerated Discovery team - Climate and Sustainability. Her work involves conducting research on the implementation of Geospatial Foundation Models in climate enabling her to deploy multiple solutions into production and develop automated software processes. She is actively involved in the tech ecosystem with an interest in women in STEM.

She holds a masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Information Technology and a bachelors in Computer Science from Masinde Muliro University, Kenya.
