Irene Manotas

Irene Manotas is a Research Staff Member in the AI4Code research group at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. Her research interests lay in the intersection of Software Engineering, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence. Prior entering IBM, Irene received her Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Delaware in the U.S. in 2017, and her Master and Bachelors in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Industrial of Santander in Colombia. In the past, Irene has worked on projects ranging different areas including Green Software Engineering, Meta-heuristics for software optimization, NLP for RE, Distributed Computing, Compressing Sensing in Mobile Devices, and Peer-to-Peer Computing.
