Prerna Agarwal

Prerna Agarwal is currently working as a Research Scientist in IBM Research India. She is currently pursuing part-time PhD from IIT Delhi in the area of Knowledge Graph Question Answering. She leads projects in the area of AI for Business Automation. She did Master's in Data Science from IIIT Delhi. She completed the bachelor's in Computer Science from Jamia Millia Islamia and received Gold Medal for her outstanding performance.

Her research interests lies in Natural Language Processing, Agentic AI, LLMs, Deep Learning and Machine Learning. She has published papers in top tier conferences in the core technology of AI and filed several patents. She has also delivered several faculty development programmes in eminent institutions like IIT Roorkee, DTU etc and is a part of Women in Machine Learning Society. She has been a recipient of many awards including external eminence and recognition award for her contributions towards building AI capabilities for business processes. Her passion is to build real AI capabilities for under privileged and exploited groups and have tie-ups with many such NGO's.
