Bio

Shereen Bellamy is a Developer Advocate for Technology Education based in Cambridge, MA. Shereen focuses on identifying ways to provide AI and quantum computing organizational learning content and programming for our clients. As well as, expanding accessibility of pre product innovations as a principal aspect of our value proposition. Additionally, Shereen organizes open source community events events that connect technologists, researchers, and curious minds across disciplines access IBM technology. A GEM Fellow at Northeastern University, Shereen worked previously at IBM within Central Scientific Services (CSS) developing software solutions for IBM Research - Quantum. Prior to IBM Research, Shereen worked as a Naval Radar Systems Software Engineer within the quality assurance unit at Raytheon Technologies. She also has extensive course design experience designing and teaching curriculum for the City of Boca Raton, City of Delray Beach, Girls Who Code and Junior Achievement. Shereen earned her Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers University- New Brunswick in Information Technology and Informatics - Data Science and a Master’s in Computer Science - AI at Northeastern.
