Bio

Vinícius is a Senior Research Scientist at IBM Research in São Paulo. He joined the lab in 2012 and is now part of the Knowledge-Centric System group, developing the front-end for various solutions and conducting user studies across different themes. His current projects explore AI explainability in different contexts and domains.

He holds D.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in HCI and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, all from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). His main research interests are human-computer interaction, computer graphics, and information visualization.
