We use the method of cell-to-cell mapping to explore the phase plane of several interesting Josephson junction circuits. Cell mapping is an efficient way to use a computer to gain broad overview of the phase space of a dynamical system, finding attractors and their basins. We use it to find the attractors and basins of four Josephson circuits: a periodically driven junction, a junction coupled to a cavity, a voltage driven junction, and two junctions coupled together. © 1989.
