IBM’s SARA SoC/SiP Project: Application-Driven High Level View

This talk provides a brief overview of the SARA ("Secure and Resilient AI Systems") project at IBM Research. The primary focus is on privacy-preserving data-secure computing. The presentation first covers an overview of the "Efficient and Resilient Systems" group charter at IBM Research. Then, the use of EPOCHS methodology (carried over from a prior DARPA-sponsored project) in pursuing a research project on hardware acceleration of AI/FHE (fully homomorphic encryption) applications is presented.
