CONTEXT 2005
The need to incorporate sense-and-respond paradigm with grid computing for adaptive enterprises is discussed. A sense-and-response (S & R) based system continually interacts with its business organizations and supporting organizational agents to make prompt decisions. As S & R system must also monitor and control business applications, it takes monitored data from target applications and renders actions back to the target. S & R service must parse and understand the policy models at its level and configure its own behaviour.
