Standing waves of wall vibration
Abstract
The forced vibrations of an infinite chain of coupled masses with long-range interactions is analyzed. Calculations explain the standing wave patterns observed by Spreen and Argyle in an array of plane parallel 180° domain walls pinned by a pair of cracks in a garnet film. © 1983.
