Artificial Intelligence
We are innovating and developing core technologies in natural language processing and generation, computer vision, speech technologies, optimization, and AI trust, to solve business problems in customer care, business analytics, process automation, and asset management.
Hybrid Cloud
The Israel teams deliver critical components to the infrastructure and platform of IBM Public Cloud to make it an open, reliable, secure, performant public cloud. These features are essential for a cloud that serves enterprise mission-critical and data-intensive applications.
Security
Our research covers the entire range of security solutions, including: data and AI security, privacy, cloud security, threat management, attack simulation, privacy preserving analytics, fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), blockchain, and central bank digital currency.
Accelerated Discovery
We are developing causal inference technologies and multimodal learning models that leverage the most advanced deep learning and generative models, aimed at accelerating molecules and biomarker discovery.
Quantum Computing
We research methods to characterize and study quantum computing devices and their dynamics under the effect of quantum noise, to improve the utilization of current quantum devices and facilitate their future development.
Think Lab
Our Think Lab in Haifa makes what's next in computing actionable for IBM employees, partners, and clients in Israel. It provides a stimulating environment to explore future technologies and their transformational impact on business and society. The Haifa Think Lab provides a stage primarily for the work of IBM Research – Israel, which is headquartered at the location. With three sites around the country, IBM Research – Israel uses our Think Lab facility to connect IBM researchers and developers in Israel with our partners and clients from throughout the country to understand how IBM’s leading work on AI, multicloud computing, security technologies, quantum computing, and accelerated scientific discovery can positively impact their organizations.
