This paper describes a Josephson-junction-based sampling circuit designed ultimately to achieve 35 dB of dynamic range with an analog bandwidth of 10 GHz. The first experimental demonstration of a prototype circuit sampling a sine wave at up to 1 GHz is reported. © 1993 IEEE
